Thinking about getting married in Italy, but not sure where to begin

You know you want Italy. You just do not know what matters first yet.

Not ready to hire a planner yet

You want clarity before committing to expensive decisions.

Overwhelmed by too many options

Venues, regions, vendors, guest logistics, legal versus symbolic ceremonies. It is a lot.

Worried about getting it wrong

You want to avoid costly mistakes and awkward logistics.

I made the mistakes, so you do not have to.

Hi, I’m Elisa. Half Italian, half German, married to my Australian husband, and the person who once thought planning a wedding in Sicily from Australia would be romantic and simple.

It was indeed very romantic. But simple might be generous.

Even with my Italian background, I still had to figure out time zones, paperwork, supplier communication, guest logistics, and all the tiny decisions nobody tells you about when you are still deep in the Pinterest phase.

That is why I created the Mini Guide.

It is the early planning support I wish I had before booking anything. Calm, practical, and written for couples who want to make smart first decisions before getting overwhelmed or overspending.

You are not behind. You just need a clearer starting point.

The first few decisions shape everything.

In Italy wedding planning, the early decisions matter more than most couples realise.

Your ceremony type affects your paperwork.

Your region affects your budget, guest travel, weather, and vendor options.

Your venue choice affects transport, accommodation, styling, food, flow, and whether your guests arrive calm or mildly traumatised by a cliffside transfer.

This does not mean you need to have everything figured out today.

It just means you need a better starting point before you start booking.

The Mini Guide gives you that first layer of clarity, so you can move forward with more confidence and fewer “why did no one tell me this?” moments.

Start your Italy wedding planning with more clarity.
